Preparation
Preheat the oven to 135 degrees Celsius.
Butter an aluminum container to make bread of 23 cm. Put a circle of wax paper on the bottom of the container and a rectangle to cover the sides of the circular container. Re-grease with butter and cover with waxed paper.
Mix the butter and sugar until you get a creamy mixture. Add the eggs and beat the mixture until a spongy mass is obtained.
Add the fruits, nuts and honey and mix well.
Add flour and allspice and mix until a uniform dough is obtained.
Pour the dough into the circular bowl and bake for about 3 hours with a bowl of water under the pan to prevent it from drying out.
Verify that the pancake is ready with a toothpick. Remove from the oven and cool.
Heat the jam with the brandy used to decorate the cake.
For more decoration use dried fruits and nuts.
Store in a cool place until serving.
