Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of Butter at room temperature
  • 3/4 of Cup of powder sugar
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1 piece of yolk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
  • 4 cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 1 tablespoon of Vegetable coloring green
  • 1 Cup of White chocolate chopped, to decorate
  • 1 Cup of granillo Christmas, to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat oven to 170 ° C
    For the cookie dough, beat the butter with the sugar until it integrates, add the egg, the yolk and beat until incorporated. Add the essence of vanilla, flour and salt, continue beating until the ingredients are incorporated.
    Remove the dough from the blender and divide it into two parts. Reserve the part of natural color and the other half add green vegetable coloring to paint. Rest the two masses in refrigeration for 40 minutes until they are firm, wrapped in non-stick plastic.
    On a smooth and floured surface, spread the mass of green biscuits to 3 mm thick, with the help of a short tree cutter and reserve. Extends the natural mass and cuts circles larger than the tree. Hollow out the center of the circles with the same tree cutter and insert the green trees in the space.
    Arrange the cookies in a tray with wax paper and refrigerate again until they are firm. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, remove from the oven and cool.
    In a bowl place the white chocolate and melt in the microwave in 30 seconds, moving constantly so it does not burn. Cover the edges of the cookies in the white chocolate, refrigerate a few seconds and stick the granillo to the cookie, refrigerate again so that it solidifies completely.
    Serve the cookies and serve with a little milk.

    Try not to beat the butter too much, just add the sugar. Remember that before baking cookies it is very important to freeze, so they will not lose their shape in the oven and will not expand too much.
