Ingredients

12 servings
  • 2 pieces of egg
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 100 milliliters of vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla
  • 160 milliliters of milk
  • 180 grams of flour
  • 60 grams of cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 120 milliliters of Water hot
  • 2 cups of cherries in syrup cut in half
  • 80 milliliters of Cherry syrup
  • 3 spoonfuls of cherry liqueur (kirsch)
  • 1 Cup of Cherry jam
  • 4 cups of chantilly cream
  • 200 grams of chocolate grated
  • enough of cherries to decorate

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
    In a blender beat the eggs until they sponge, add the sugar and continue beating, add vegetable oil, vanilla essence and milk.
    With the help of a sieve or sieve add the dry ingredients, flour, cocoa, baking powder, beat 2 minutes more, add the hot water and whisk until integrated.
    Pour the cake preparation into a previously floured and greased mold. Bake for 20 minutes, let cool and unmold.
    With the help of a serrated knife, slice the cake into 4 pieces, until you get 4 circles.
    In a bowl mix the syrup of the cherries with the liquor.
    On a rotating base place a sponge base and with a brush soak the bread with the previous syrup.
    Add a little cherry jam and spread over the sponge cake, add the chantilly cream, and place the cherries to add the other sponge cake and repeat the previous process.
    With the help of a spatula, cover the entire cake with chantilly cream.
    Decorate the walls of the cake with the chocolate shavings.
    Place the rest of the chantilly cream in a sleeve with curly duya, decorate the top and finish with cherries.
