This recipe is delicious because it uses the noodles, which we normally eat in salty saucers, for a delicious dessert. I tried it once I went to the north of India and I loved it. Curiously, recently I went to a regional food festival in Jalisco, and I found something very similar: a recipe very similar to rice pudding, but with noodles.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 2.5 liters milk
  • 1 cup date, cut into pieces
  • 1/4 cups almond, filleted
  • 1/4 cups pistachio, chopped
  • 1/4 cups grated coconut
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cups cashews
  • 4 teaspoons cardamom
  • 1/4 cups seedless raisin
  • 1 teaspoon rose water

Preparation

Boil milk
Add dates and leave on medium heat for 20 minutes. Stir constantly.
Add almonds, pistachios, coconut, Indian walnut and sugar.
Incorporate noodles and stir.
When the milk thickens, add cardamom, raisins and rose water.
Cool.

PRESENTATION

It can be served in bowls and eat with a spoon. It is decorated with pistachio and walnut from India.

TIPS

You can add more milk if you want less thick.
