Ingredients

10 servings
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 4 San Juan® egg
  • 4 spoonfuls of instant coffee
  • 1/2 Cup of raw sugar
  • 2 spoonfuls of coffee liqueur
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk
  • 4 cups of mascarpone cheese for the cream
  • 1 Cup of powder sugar for the cream
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla for the cream
  • 1/4 of Cup of cocoa
  • 2 cups of lady finger to decorate

Preparation

For the crepes, in a bowl mix the flour with the pieces of San Juan® egg, coffee, sugar, coffee liquor and milk until you have a homogeneous and smooth mixture.
In a Teflon pan over medium heat pour a ladle of the crepes mixture and spread, cook each side for 2 minutes or until done.
For the cream, beat the mascarpone cheese with the powdered sugar and the vanilla essence. Set aside.
For the assembly, in a cake ring place a crepe spread a little cream and repeat the process until the crepes are finished, remove the ring.
Cover the cake with the mascarpone cream and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Sprinkle with cocoa and decorate with ladyfingers all around. Cut and serve with a cup of coffee.

PRESENTATION

Cover with cream and decorate with lady fingers along the sides and a ribbon.

TIPS

Cut the cold cake with a sharp knife. You can substitute mascarpone cheese for cream cheese. Refrigerate the cake very well before sprinkling the cocoa.
