This rich and refreshing Lemon Mouse is easily prepared with a little Grenetina that gives it its thick Mousse texture, prepare it to finish a meal or barbecue as a family.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 5 egg whites
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 6 teaspoons of lemon juice
  • 1 on of gelatin unflavored gelatin

Preparation

Separate the whites from the yolks and beat the whites until they are about to snow with a pinch of salt.
Slowly add the sugar until the mixture becomes hard.
Dissolve the gelatin in a quarter cup of boiling water and add a quarter cup of cold water.
Add the lemon juice to the egg whites and then the gelatin, proceeding to beat quickly.
Put the mixture in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Remove the mixture and whisk it again to prevent the lemon juice from separating from the whites.
Put it in an oiled mold and refrigerate for four hours or overnight.
Cover the mouse with English cream.
