Ingredients

12 portions
  • 1 1/2 cups wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cups butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cups milk, with the juice of a lemon, or buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry essence, artificial
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cups white chocolate chip
  • 1 teaspoon red gel food color
  • 380 grams cream cheese, at room temperature (for frosting)
  • 180 grams butter, at room temperature (for frosting)
  • 1 cup sugar, (for the frosting)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, (for the frosting)
  • 1 pastry bag
  • 1 pastry bag, # 104 by Wilton
  • 1 wooden skewer
  • red gel food color, necessary amount

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Reserve 1 tablespoon of flour and the rest sieve it with the royal, baking and salt.
In electric mixer or by hand with a wooden spoon, add the butter with the sugar until pale and spongy. Add the egg and beat until incorporated.
Add the essences to the buttermilk, and add to the butter preparation alternating with the flour, (starting and ending with flour). Do not overbat.
Add the red vegetable dye; then in an enveloping form, add the white chocolate sparks, mixed with the spoonful of previously reserved flour.
In molds for cupcakes with caps (or greased and floured) fill with the previous mixture 3/4 capacity. Bake 20 to 25 min.
For the frosting we beat together the cream cheese, butter, icing sugar and vanilla extract until consistency.

PRESENTATION

With a wooden skewer, we painted a vertical line of red in the pastry bag, with the duya already on. Following this we put the cream cheese frosting and decorate the already cold cupcakes, giving shape to the petals, starting from the center

TIPS

For the cupcake dough, you can substitute red dye in gel, liquid dye, powder or paste. The pastry bag can be replaced with a plastic bag, like the duya for a curly and make rosettes.
