Ingredients

  • 150 grams unsalted butter
  • 250 grams unsalted butter, frosting
  • 200 grams sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 grams flour
  • 50 milliliters milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 250 grams powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoons vegetal color additive, yellow

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
In a bowl beat the 150 g of butter along with the 200 g of sugar and the grated zest of half a lemon. You should get a light and frothy texture. While continuing to beat add the eggs one by one and beating well before adding the next egg.
Add the 50 ml of milk, beat until everything is well incorporated.
In another bowl sift the 250 g of flour, the teaspoon of baking powder and incorporate it slowly into the mixture. Stir until you get a homogeneous mass.
Distribute the dough in the molds and cook at 180 ° C for 15 or 20 minutes, or until the dough rises and remains consistent. Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool completely.
For frosting: Put a pot over low heat and add the two tablespoons of lemon juice, you can use lemon essence if you prefer. Add the 250 g of butter and stir until melted. Add the 250 g of powdered sugar and remove the pot from the heat.
Add the yellow dye and move until all the bitumen is painted. Let the bitumen cool and take enough consistency to decorate the cupcakes.
Place the bitumen in a pastry bag and decorate the cupcakes.

PRESENTATION

Decorate with lemon frosting and some sugar pearls.
