These cupcakes are a delicious option for dessert after a meal or for an afternoon coffee among friends. They are not difficult to prepare and instead impress your guests with its original presentation and its rich flavor.

Ingredients

24 portions
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup Water, hot
  • 4 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 2/3 cups cocoa
  • 3/4 cups vegetable shortening
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • chocolate syrups
  • cookies

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder.
In a small bowl, dissolve the cocoa and soluble coffee in the hot water.
In a large bowl, beat the vegetable shortening and gradually add sugar. When well mixed, add the eggs one by one and the vanilla. Add little by little the mixture of the flour and the cocoa alternately. Beat until the mixture is homogeneous.
Put medium-sized cups on the cupcakes and fill them with the mixture to 2/3 of their capacity.
Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool.
In a small bowl, beat the cream with the icing sugar and the teaspoon of soluble coffee at high speed until peaks form.
With a dulla in the shape of a star, decorate the cupcakes with "kisses".
Place cookies and chocolate syrup the way they would at your favorite coffee shop!

PRESENTATION

You can also decorate with chocolate chips, with coffee beans covered in chocolate, cocoa, cinnamon or half-cut straws so that they look like your favorite mocaccino.

TIPS

The cupcakes should be decorated until they are cool so that the decoration will not melt.

Marce, hola, te quería contar que los acabé de hacer pero la cubierta me quedó muy floja o aguada, de sabor muy rica pero no mantiene la forma de la decoración, qué puedo hacer para endurecerla un poco y que quede fija. Gracias
