These surprise cupcakes are rich and easy to prepare, inside they have an exquisite filling of dulce de leche that will leave everyone with a craving for a second cupcake.

  • 4 cups wheat flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons liquid vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cups chocolate chip
  • 120 grams White chocolate, grated
  • 32 baking cups, (cups for cupcakes)
  • dulce de leche (caramel) , (arequipe)
  • powdered sugar


Before adding the flour to the mold we hover it (go through a colander to eliminate any lumps it contains).
Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees C or 360 F and place the cups (molds for cupcakes)
In a saucepan, combine the flour, salt and sugar.
Beat eggs with vanilla
Unite the mixture of the eggs with the flour, mix well (this mixture can be made with the blender or spatula) and add the butter, beating constantly until a compact and homogeneous mixture is achieved
We add the grated white chocolate with a ladle and mix gently.
Add the mixture in the molds, place 3/4 (do not fill the whole mold, remember that the cupcakes go up and thus avoid overflowing)
In each of the molds is added 1 1/2 teaspoon of chocolate chips sinking as much as possible.
They are placed in the oven cooking for about 20 minutes, or when you insert a toothpick and it comes out dry
After the set time has passed, remove them from the oven and put them to cool
Apart add in a sleeve the dulce de leche (arequipe) with a filling nozzle, fill each of the cupcakes, sprinkle with icing sugar. They can also decorate to your liking.
