Ingredients

18 portions
  • 200 grams lard
  • 400 grams sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 milliliters milk
  • 500 grams self-raising flour
  • 2 lemon zest
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 200 grams powdered sugar, (impalpable)

Preparation

Place the lard in a bowl that should be at room temperature. Add the sugar and the zest. We beat to form a cream.
We are adding the eggs one by one, we incorporate the flour alternating with the milk. It should be a well sustained mass but not hard.
We place in molds or pirotines until the ¾ part. We place on a plate and bring to a moderate oven. The cooking time will depend on the molds they use, but it can be in about 10 to 15 minutes.
For the icing on the top, beat the egg white a little, gradually add the sugar and the lemon juice, beat until it forms peaks and is well sustained. We can make several colors or sprinkle with different grains. These usually carry a cone of glaze.

PRESENTATION

The decoration can be as you want with candy hearts or with m & m.

TIPS

To decorate in a better way do it with a spatula.

Si no tienes harina leudante solo harina con polvo para hornear y en vez de manteca con mantequilla o margarina, les dire que la receta no es mia, solo les doy ese Consejo.
