This delicious Cake of Tres Leches consists of a cake bathed with cream of milk, condensed milk and evaporated milk, it is the ideal Cake to celebrate birthdays and other special dates.

Ingredients

8 servings
  • 1 Cup of refined sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/3 of Cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla extract
  • 1 Cup of flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 2 cups of whipping cream
  • 10 maraschino cherries

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Grease a medium aluminum mold.
    Beat egg yolks together with ¾ cup of sugar until light color and volume has doubled. It alternately incorporates milk, vanilla and baking powder.
    In a small bowl beat the egg whites until stiff. Little by little, he incorporates the rest of the sugar. Beat until the mixture is firm, but not dry. Wrap the whites in the mixture of the yolks. Pour into the greased mold.
    Bake at 175 ° C for 45 to 50 minutes. Insert a fork on the surface of the cake and if it comes out clean, it means your cake is ready.
    Mix condensed milk, evaporated milk and ¼ cup of whipping cream. Exclude one cup of the three milk mixture (discard or refrigerate for another use). Slowly pour the rest of the three milks on the cake until it has been absorbed. Beat the rest of the cream until it thickens and reaches the meringue point. Cover the cake and garnish with the cherries.
