Apples Covered with Chamoy

Prepare these delicious and spicy apples covered with chamoy, you will love them and they will be the heart of your parties, and your guests will be delighted.

Ingredients

3 servings
  • 3 yellow apples
  • 1/4 of Cup of chamoy
  • 1 1/4 cups of tamarind pulp
  • 1 1/4 cups of chili powder
  • 1/4 of Cup of sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of lemon juice
  • 3 skewer sticks

    Preparation

    Soak the chopsticks in lemon juice for 10 minutes. Reserve.
    In a small pot, heat the tamarind pulp over medium heat and reduce the pulp by half. Add the sugar and let caramelize for 5 minutes. Mix the Chamoy and one cup of the chili powder.Remove from heat and let cool for 30 minutes on a tray and cover with plastic paper.
    Insert the skewer sticks into the apples and set aside.
    Place some Chamoy paste between two plastic bags and extend with a rolling pin until forming a circle big enough to cover one apple.
    Cover the apples with the Chamoy paste.
    Add more chili powder, decorate and serve.

    PRESENTATION

    Decorate with a ribbon bow

    TIPS

    Add a little oil spray in the plastic bags so that the chamoy does not stick.

    Yo les recomiendo el chilito Miguelito y el chamoy, salen muy buenas!! yo ya lo probe, para las que no conocen la marca aquí les dejo su página: http://www.dulcesmiguelito.com/ ¡y chicas el aceite en aerosol si sirve! porque a muchas se les pega
