Preparation
Soak the chopsticks in lemon juice for 10 minutes. Reserve.
In a small pot, heat the tamarind pulp over medium heat and reduce the pulp by half. Add the sugar and let caramelize for 5 minutes. Mix the Chamoy and one cup of the chili powder.Remove from heat and let cool for 30 minutes on a tray and cover with plastic paper.
Insert the skewer sticks into the apples and set aside.
Place some Chamoy paste between two plastic bags and extend with a rolling pin until forming a circle big enough to cover one apple.
Cover the apples with the Chamoy paste.
Add more chili powder, decorate and serve.
