Ingredients

4 portions
  • 4 Red apples
  • 1/4 cups raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 1 cup Water, boiling
  • walnuts, chopped (optional)
  • raisins, (optional)

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
Wash the apples very well, dry them and remove the heart with a Parisian spoon. Taking care to only remove half, without piercing the base.
In a bowl mix the mashed sugar, raisins, chopped nuts and cinnamon powder.
Fill the apples with the mixture, you must not exceed the edge.
Place a spoonful of butter on top of each one.
Arrange them on a baking dish, and pour the boiling water inside.
Bake at 190 ° C for 30 minutes or until the apples look soft but not undone.
Remove from the oven, serve them dipped in the juices of the container.
Accompany with your favorite ice cream.

PRESENTATION

Serve each apple with walnut, caramel or vanilla ice cream.

TIPS

Serve hot, to reheat them add a little water to the refractory and bake for 5 minutes.
