The clafouti, is a French dessert similar to baked pastry cream. In this traditional recipe it is prepared with cherries.

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400F (200 C).
In a baking dish (with a capacity of 2 liters), place the cherries clean and without stems. Reserve.
In a medium bowl, mix flour and sugar. Mix well and reserve.
In a small bowl, mix the eggs, cream and vanilla extract. Beat with a balloon whisk.
In the center of the flour mixture, form a hole with your hands.
Little by little, beat the mixture of eggs over the flour mixture. Let stand 15-20 minutes.
Put the mixture on the fruit and cook until the cake begins to brown, about 25-30 minutes.
