Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 8 apples, medium
  • 1/2 cups walnut, chopped and toasted
  • 200 grams chocolate, melted
  • 8 skewer sticks, of wood

Preparation

Put waxed paper in a tray and apply butter to the paper.
Wash the apples and insert the wooden stick in them by the part of the stem.
In a saucepan add the thermometer and put the butter, corn syrup, brown sugar and milk, bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Stir slowly until the thermometer reaches 248 ° C.
Remove the pot from the heat and add the vanilla extract.
Dip each apple in the caramel and then in the nut.
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and sprinkle the chocolate on the apples.
Put the apples on top of the waxed paper and wait until the chocolate cools (put them in the refrigerator for a few minutes).

PRESENTATION

Decorate your apples with a ribbon making a bow on them.

TIPS

You can substitute the nut for almond or some other ingredient of your liking.
