Ingredients

4 portions
  • 3 cups peach, dried apricots cut into cubes
  • 30 grams golden raisin
  • 20 grams walnuts
  • 50 grams peanut, peeling without salt
  • 50 grams walnut, from Brazil
  • 20 grams pistachio, peeling without salt
  • 30 grams raisin
  • 50 grams pecan nut
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 2/3 cups Water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 2/3 cups brown sugar

Preparation

Mix the apricots, the garam masala, the sugar, the ginger, the raisins, the salt, the vinegar and the water in a pot. Bring the preparation to a boil.
Lower the heat, to a low temperature, and let boil for 30 to 35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
When the chutney has thickened it will resemble a jam. At this point you should remove from heat and let cool.

PRESENTATION

Place the chutney in a beautiful jar.

TIPS

Cook the preparation on low heat, avoiding heating at minimum heat.
