Toast with strawberry jam is a recipe that is easy to prepare. The acidity of the marmalade combines perfectly with the toasted bread. The bread and marmalade recipe is ideal for a dessert or for a quick breakfast or dinner.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 package Bimbo® Toasted Bread
  • 1 kilo strawberry
  • 1 kilo sugar
  • 1/4 cups lemon juice, yellow (eureka)

Preparation

In a bowl, crush the strawberries with a bean crusher.
Add the strawberries to a pot, add the sugar and lemon. Cook over low heat, continuing to stir until the sugar dissolves.
Once the sugar dissolved, the temperature increases.
Pour the marmalade into previously sterilized jars and store in the refrigerator.
Spread some of the jam on toast and serve.

PRESENTATION

Serve on a plate accompanied by a glass of milk.

TIPS

You can add butter or peanut butter to the bread before placing the jam.
