Homemade sweet bread is easier to make than you imagine and you can check it with this recipe to make fried donuts with Christmas decorations. This will be an easy and delicious dessert for your candy table if you make a meeting, or they will also be a good breakfast after Christmas. Ingredients

12 servings
  • 4 cups of flour (500 grams)
  • 10 grams of dry yeast
  • 3/4 of Cup of milk
  • 3/4 of Cup of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of Salt
  • 3 San Juan® egg
  • 1/4 of Cup of Butter
  • enough of flour to spread the dough
  • enough of oil to fry
  • 1 Cup of dark chocolate molten
  • 3 cups of powder sugar for the glaze
  • 1/4 of Cup of milk for the glaze
  • enough of Red food dye for the glaze
  • enough of green coloring for the glaze
  • enough of edible sugar pearls
  • cherries

Preparation

Mix the flour, yeast, milk, sugar, salt and San Juan® egg pieces in a bowl, and knead until you begin to get consistency. Add the butter and continue kneading for 15 more minutes, until smooth.
Place the dough in a previously greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth or plastic and rest for 1 hour.
On a floured surface, spread the dough with a 1 cm wide roller, let it rest on the table for 10 minutes before cutting. Cut circles of different diameter, as shown in the video.
Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat and fry the donuts; flip them with the help of a spatula and when removing them, drain on absorbent paper to remove excess fat.
For the glaze, divide the glass sugar into 3 parts, add 2 tablespoons of milk to each, mix until incorporated and add the dye, respectively.
Cover the donuts with the different glazes, as shown in the video, let dry and decorate.

TIPS
