This delicious recipe for easy donuts are very rich, also very fluffy. You can fill them with custard, jam or cajeta. Accompany them with a rich coffee, tea or a glass of milk, they are ideal for the whole family.

  • 250 grams wheat flour, sifted
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cups milk, at room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • vanilla essence, to taste
  • 50 grams butter, or margarine at room temperature
  • oils, to fry
  • sugar, the necessary to bathe the donuts
  • custard cream, to taste
  • jams, to taste


Mix the flour, yeast and sugar in a large bowl and pour on a table.
Form a volcano, add the eggs and mix.
Add the milk, salt, vanilla and finally the butter mix until integrated.
If it sticks add a little flour and knead until it no longer sticks.
Place it in a container and cover it with a clean damp cloth, preferably with warm water. Place in a warm place and wait for it to double in size (weather will depend on the weather for approximately 90 minutes).
Spread some flour on the table and love a little more. Flatten with a roller until it is approximately 1 1/2 cm thick.
Cut the dough with a round cookie mold or if you do not have 2 cups of different sizes to make the figure of the donut.
In a mold greased with a little butter and floured place the donuts and give more time to increase the size. Place near the stove (approx 90 min)
Fry the donuts in hot but not boiling oil, turn every 30 seconds about 4 or 6 times until they are cooked.
Place the donuts in a strainer or napkin to drain the oil.
Let cool and bathe with sugar. You can open them in half and fill them with custard or jam.


Place the donuts in a container as they are cold and accompany with your favorite drink.


It is important that the ingredients are at room temperature for easy handling. The longer you let ferment, the more spongy the donuts will remain.
