Delicious Spanish-style polvorones that can accompany those coffee afternoons with friends. You can make them that same day and take them freshly baked. Delicious!

Ingredients

60 portions
  • 180 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted, browned in the oven
  • 1/2 cups powdered sugar, or no calorie sweetener

Preparation

First bake the flour on a baking sheet until golden brown (it may take about 15 to 20 minutes) wait for it to cool.
Stir the flour with the yeast, sugar and butter (you can use a mixer at medium speed) wait until a consistent dough is not lumpy.
Flour a work table to be able to roll out the dough with a rolling pin and use a cookie cutter.
Arrange the cookies on a tray with waxed paper.
Bake for 30 minutes at 180 degrees until golden brown.
Let cool and that's it.
You can sprinkle the cookies with icing sugar combined with ground cinnamon to give it a different touch.

PRESENTATION

Decorate with icing sugar, cinnamon or cocoa.

TIPS

You can add orange zest for a more intense flavor.
