Chocolate cookies and royal icing is the perfect dessert to show you how much you love that special person. They are delicious chocolate cookies decorated in a beautiful way, perfect for Valentine's Day.

Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 1/2 cups butter, (125 g)
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups flour, (230 g)
  • 1/4 cups cocoa, (20 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoons liquid vanilla
  • 1 egg white, for the royal icing
  • 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar, (200 g) for royal icing
  • 1 lemon, for the royal icing
  • red food dye , amount needed, for royal icing

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
For chocolate and royal icing cookies: add the butter to the blender at medium speed. Add the egg, vanilla, flour and cocoa. Mix for 1 minute.
Cut a non-stick plastic sheet, place the mixture you beat and wrap. Store this for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
Remove the pasta from the refrigerator, remove the plastic and knead a little.
Spread flour on the table and the dough, and spread the dough with a rolling pin, looking for a thickness of 1 centimeter.
Form the cookies with your cutter.
Place the freshly cut cookies in a tray with a silicone mat.
Bake for about 10 minutes. After the recommended time, remove them from the oven and remove them from the tray to cool.
For royal icing: mix the icing sugar with the egg white perfectly and add lemon juice.
Divide the mixture into two glass containers. To one part, add a few drops of color and stir.
Empty the royal color icing to a waxed paper cone.
Decorate the cookie, starting with the outline, and refill it in its entirety, use a toothpick so you can fill the cookie, and thus, get better results.
In another cone, add royal icing of a different color and put a few points on the previous mix. With the help of a toothpick, pull the dots to form a heart
Let the glass royal dry for 10 minutes.

PRESENTATION
