Ingredients

20 servings
  • 1 Cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 Cup of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of baking powder royal
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla extract
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1/2 kilo of powder sugar
  • 6 spoonfuls of milk for the glaze
  • 6 spoonfuls of corn syrup or corn honey
  • drops of artificial food coloring (put little by little because he paints a lot)
  • 1 Cup of icing for decoration
  • 6 spoonfuls of powder sugar

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C).
    In a bowl and with a blender add butter and sugar. Once they are well mixed, add the egg and the vanilla extract.
    Mix flour and baking powder thoroughly.
    In 3 parts, add flour to the butter mixture. Stirring very well after each addition. The last part of the flour, mix it by hand; must be the hard mass.
    Divide the dough into two balls and keep one wrapped in egapack (adhesive paper) in the refrigerator.
    On a surface with flour, flatten the dough that was rolled, until it has a height of about 1/3 cm.
    Put the cookie cutters on a bit of flour (so they do not stick to the dough) and cut the cookies.
    Put the cookies in a baking sheet with waxed paper underneath. Bake for 6-8 minutes until the edges of the cookies begin to brown.
    Let the cookies cool on a rack, while the icings are being prepared to decorate the cookies.
    To prepare the glaze of colors: mix the milk with the sugar glass. Add the corn syrup and stir well. Divide the glaze to paint it in different colors. Use vegetable dyes and VERY POQUITO because they paint a lot. Reserve the frostings with a plastic on top so they do not dry out.
    To make the decoration bitumen: take 1 cup of the glaze and mix it with 4-6 tablespoons of icing sugar. It must be hard. Put it in a dulla and reserve.
    Decorate your cookies first with icing and then decorate the edges and details with the decoration bitumen in a dulla. You can make the glaze of many colors as well as the bitumen to decorate.

    PRESENTATION

    TIPS

    To make the color pink, red dye is used. To make other colors: first make yellow, then this can be done violet (with a little blue) and then you can make super red (with red).
