It has many uses in cake decorating, and dries heavily so it is not very appropriate to cover cakes. Try this royal icing recipe to decorate your cakes an easy and effective option.

Ingredients

1 portion
  • 3 tablespoons meringue powder
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 6 tablespoons Water, tibia

Preparation

In a clean and dry bowl beat all the ingredients at medium speed on a machine using the balloon whisk.
Scrape the edges of the bowl so that the mixture is perfectly incorporated, raise the speed of the blender and continue beating around 7 to 10 minutes until the glaze is firm and fluffy, with a totally white color.

PRESENTATION

Some decorating techniques use royal icing to dry for a few days in advance before these decorations can be used. It is usually used to create decorative details in the cakes, flowers.

TIPS

If they require a glaze to cover biscuits they must add a spoonful of water more and in this way the glaze is thinned and it is optimal to cover with a softer layer.
