This chocolate coffee cake recipe will be very simple to prepare with our step by step. To make it you need an almond and coffee drink, so this cake does not contain lactose. You can add vanilla or orange zest, and if you feel that the dough is very dry, try adding a little more coconut oil. Do not forget to decorate it with nuts and red fruits, and share it with someone special.

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour, for the mass
  • 1/4 cups Coconut flour
  • 3 tablespoons palm sugar, coconut for dough
  • 1/8 tablespoons salt, for the mass
  • 1/4 tablespoons baking soda, for the mass
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil, for the mass
  • 1 egg, for the mass
  • 1 1/2 cups Almond + Coffee Nature's Heart® Drink, for the filling
  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee, for the filling
  • 2 cups dark chocolate, in pieces, for the filling
  • enough nut mixture, Nature's Heart® to decorate
  • enough strawberry, in halves, to decorate
  • enough blackberry, in halves, to decorate
  • enough raspberry, to decorate
  • enough quinoa, inflated to decorate


Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
For the dough, in a processor place the wholemeal flour, coconut flour, coconut palm sugar, salt and baking powder. Press 3 times until incorporated, add coconut oil and process.
Add the egg and mix until a compact dough forms. Remove the dough from the processor, wrap in plastic and refrigerate for an hour. Reservation.
On a clean and floured surface, spread the dough to 30 cm in diameter. Place in a greased and floured pie mold. Trim the leftover from the banks and rest in refrigeration.
Remove from refrigeration and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown; Cool and reserve.
For the filling, heat the Almond Drink + Nature's Heart® Coffee until it boils, then add the soluble coffee and the chocolate, and mix until dissolved. Pour the mixture over the cake batter, cool for 30 minutes or until the filling is solid.
Garnish with the mix of Nature's Heart® nuts, strawberry, blackberry, raspberry and puffed quinoa. Enjoy

If you feel the pie dough dry you can add more coconut oil.

Si quiero sustituir la bebida de almendras y el aceite de coco por ingredientes más comunes y fáciles de encontrar, ¿qué puedo usar? En caso de que decidiera usar crema para batir, además de chocolate y café, ¿requeriría algún agente que haga cuajar la mezcla? ¿Como maicena o grenetina? Ojalá me puedan contestar porque la receta se ve extraordinaria pero mi presupuesto es limitado.
