These jericallas are a delight typical of the state of Jalisco, Mexico. This dessert is a very traditional preparation in Mexican cuisine, it is similar to fla, only that it has a curd cover. It is a delicious dessert that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

4 portions
  • 500 milliliters milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 125 grams sugar
  • 10 milliliters liquid vanilla

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
In a thick saucepan put the milk, sugar and cinnamon slit over medium heat, and stir with a wooden spoon, when the boil starts, remove from the fire at 10 minutes.
In a bowl, beat the eggs with nougat, then temper with the previous mixture, adding little by little. .
Continue beating, add the vanilla essence at that time.
In silicone containers or deep porcelain plates, place the mixture taking care to remove the cinnamon slit and place it in a bain-marie in the oven, bake for 45 minutes.

PRESENTATION
