Preparation
Put rice in a large pot with water, cinnamon slice and salt.
Heat to high heat until it starts to boil, lower heat and cover until it almost absorbs all the water.
Add the milk and sugar, raise the heat and stir until it thickens.
Add the vanilla and cook 2 more minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool for 25 minutes.
Serve in individual cups, garnish with raisins and ground cinnamon.
