Try this delicious dessert typical of Guatemalan cuisine, which is the perfect combination of banana and beans or cheese, ideal to share with family and friends with a good cup of coffee or chocolate.

Ingredients

12 servings
  • 4 pieces of plantain
  • 1/4 of Cup of sugar
  • 1 piece of cinnamon stick slices
  • 30 grams of fresh cheese
  • 1/2 Cup of refried beans
  • 1/2 Cup of oil

    Preparation

    Cook the bananas with water, sugar and cinnamon for 30 minutes.
    Remove from heat and mash until mashed.
    Grease your hands with a little oil and form small banana balls, then squash them and place a spoonful of beans or a piece of cheese, close with the help of your hands giving it an oval shape.
    Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fillings until golden brown.
    Remove from the fire and enjoy.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve the stuffed with sugar and cinnamon on top accompanied by a good cup of coffee.

    TIPS

    Bananas should not be too ripe or too green.
