Prepare these traditional sugary empanadas. It is a traditional Mexican recipe that will become a favorite in your home.   • 375 grams vegetable shortening
  • 1 can light beer
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cups jam
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 100 grams cinnamon powder

Bake at 180 ° C for 25 minutes, it is not necessary to be very golden. In a bowl mix the sugar and cinnamon.
Remove the empanadas from the oven and pass them through the sugar mixture with cinnamon. Let them cool on a rack and enjoy.

You must have patience when working the dough, at first it is very sticky but little by little you will obtain a homogenous and easy to manipulate mass.
