The homemade popcorn made in pot is delicious and one of the simplest products to consume as a snack alternative. They are 100% Mexican and come from palomero corn. With these swarms covered with colored chocolate, they will not only be a very tasty sweet, but also very fun, perfect for the national holidays, but since they can be painted in different colors, you can use whatever you want and change the presentation for any chance.

Ingredients

24 servings
  • 3 spoonfuls of vegetable oil
  • 2 cups of popcorn
  • 3 cups of White chocolate
  • 1 teaspoonful of Vegetable food coloring Red
  • 1 teaspoonful of Vegetable food coloring green

    Preparation

    Heat a pot with oil over medium heat, add the corn and cover; stir constantly without uncovering for 5 minutes. When the popcorn is burst, remove from the stove and reserve.
    Heat water until it boils; Place the white chocolate in a bowl over the pot of water to make a water bath, melt for 5 minutes and remove.
    Divide the chocolate evenly into three containers. Add the green dye to a bowl, the red dye to another and leave a bowl of white chocolate.
    Divide the popcorn into three parts and form swarms of colors. Let cool, serve and enjoy.

    PRESENTATION

    The swarms are painted colors, so you can use whatever you want and change the presentation.

    TIPS

    When making popcorn, keep the lid closed at all times. When you melt the chocolate, it is important to move constantly and when it melts, remove and do not overheat, to avoid lumps. You can warm up a little again, in case it hardens.
