Ingredients

6 portions
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 5 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons Orange liqueur, Grand Marnier

Preparation

In a pot, mix a cup of milk with the sugar until it starts to boil.
Meanwhile stir the yolk and mix it with the milk and cornstarch and add it to the boiling milk.
Stir constantly until thick and add the vanilla and grand marnier if desired.
Remove from the pot of the fire and let cool stirring occasionally so that cream does not form.
