Prepare this delicious dessert that is a combination of mango, eggs, milk and caramel. With an unequaled smooth and delicate texture, this dessert is topped with the taste of sweet caramelised mango.

Ingredients

12 servings
  • 1 Cup of sugar for caramel
  • 3 spoonfuls of Maple syrup for caramel
  • 1/4 of Cup of Water for caramel
  • 1 Cup of condensed milk for flan
  • 1 can of evaporated milk for flan
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla for flan
  • 1 1/2 cups of mangoes for flan
  • 190 grams of cream cheese for flan
  • 5 pieces of egg for flan
  • 1/4 of Cup of raw sugar for mango topping
  • 3 spoonfuls of Butter for mango topping
  • 1 Cup of mango cut into cubes, for topping
  • 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 170°C (340 °F).
    In a sauce pan, melt the sugar with the water and the maple syrup to make a soft caramel. Pour it into a mold.
    Blend the mango with the cream cheese, eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk and the vanilla extract.
    Sift the mango mixture carefully over the caramel. Bake in Bain Marie covered with aluminum foil for 45 minutes. To check if it's done, insert the tip of a knife in the center of the custard. It should come out clean.
    In another pan, melt the brown sugar with the butter. Add the chopped mango and the cinnamon.
    Demold the flan and garnish with the caramelized fruit. Enjoy.

    PRESENTATION

    Decorate with caramelised mango cubes.

    TIPS

    You can prepare it in individual portions if you wish.

    Una duda... si lo quiero hacer un día antes, ya terminado lo vuelvo a refrigerar? Cierto? El caramelo con mango no se endurece? O mejor ese lo hago antes de servirlo?
