Ingredients

8 servings
  • 1 tablespoon of butter for bananas
  • 2 bananas
  • 1/2 cup of raw sugar for bananas
  • enough of cinnamon powder for bananas
  • 1 1/4 cups of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of dulce de leche (caramel)
  • 1 1/2 cups of evaporated milk
  • 5 eggs
  • enough of cajeta - Mexican carmelized goat milk sweet
  • wafers to decorate
  • enough of walnut toasted and chopped

Preparation

Heat over low heat the evaporated milk with cinnamon and star anise, until it boils. Cool and reserve.
Heat the butter in a pan over medium heat, melt a little and add the banana, the muscovado sugar and sprinkle cinnamon; Cook for 5 minutes and remove from heat. Reservation.
For the cheese mixture, blend the cream cheese, the dulce de leche, the evaporated milk that you heated before and the eggs. Reservation.
To assemble the flan, in individual flannels or molds pour cajeta in the bottom, add the bananas and the cheese mixture. In a water bath with hot water, cook at medium temperature on the stove for approximately 30 minutes. Cool
Unmold the flan and decorate with chopped walnuts and wafers.
