The true taste of Italy in your palate. Easy to elaborate and practical to be elaborated in an expresso pot. Its ingredients are economical and simple to obtain.

Ingredients

6 servings
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoonful of vanilla essence
  • 1/4 of Cup of raw sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of raspberry disinfected
  • mint leaves or peppermint to decorate
  • 190 grams of cream cheese at room temperature

    Preparation

    In an express pot and with the help of a steamer basket, form a bain-marie and boil the water.
    Place the sugar at the bottom of the flanera and bring to low heat until the sugar dissolves and forms a soft and light brown caramel, if it darkens it will have burned and it will taste bad, if so you should repeat the procedure. Once you have obtained it, remove it from the heat and let it cool until it hardens.
    Blend the rest of the ingredients (except raspberries and mint) and once you get a homogeneous mixture, empty the mixture inside the flanera and put the lid on it. TIP: If your flanera has no lid, you can help by covering it with aluminum foil, remember that the shiny side is the one that will come in contact with the flan, and then tie it with garters, it is important that the paper does not touch the water to prevent this enter the mixture and spoil our flan.
    Place the flanera carefully on the steam basket that is inside the express pot, cover the pot and do not place the valve until the steam escapes through the hole (about 5 minutes) of the top. Once the valve is placed, count 30 minutes and at the end of these turn off the flame, and let about 20 minutes to finish the cooking and remove the valve.
    Remove the flanera from the express pot and bring to room temperature before cooling. It is important that you refrigerate it for at least 8 hours so that when unmolding it does not break.
    Part in 6 parts and each slice put on a platter. Decorate with raspberries and fresh mint or peppermint leaves.
