Ingredients

10 servings
  • 2 pieces of piloncillo
  • 1 piece of cinnamon stick slices
  • 1 teaspoonful of anise
  • 1/2 Cup of Water
  • 4 cups of cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoonful of baking powder
  • 2 cups of oil to fry

    Preparation

    In a pot over medium heat heat the piloncillo, with cinnamon, anise and water until honey is made. Let cool completely and reserve.
