This Guayabate al Piloncillo is a delicious dessert made with Guava and sweetened with Piloncillo, it is also very economical and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

5 portions
  • 1 kilo guava
  • 1/2 kilos piloncillo, lined
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Preparation

Wash the guavas perfectly, place them in a container and crush them until you obtain a puree, pass them through a sieve.
In a saucepan, place the puree and the piloncillo, mix perfectly.
Place the saucepan on low heat stirring the mixture constantly with the help of a wooden spoon.
Let it boil until you can see the bottom of the pan and remove the pan from the heat.
Grease a tray with butter and go placing balls of the previous mixture and when it is cooled roll them in sugar.

TIPS

Let the mixture cool a bit so you can form the balls well.
