Soft icing based on sugar for decorating cakes and pies.

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 113 grams butter, or margarine
  • 100 grams vegetable shortening
  • 500 grams powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Preparation

Mix the shortening with the butter.
Add the vanilla.
Gradually incorporate the icing sugar. When all the sugar has been mixed well, the glaze will have a dry appearance.
Add the milk and continue whisking.
Store in the refrigerator (or refrigerator), in a closed container, when not in use. It can be stored for up to 2 weeks.
