Ingredients

8 portions
  • 5 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 2 rajas cinnamon

Preparation

Boil the milk with cinnamon and vanilla for 20 minutes, add the sugar and boil for 20 more minutes.
Remove from the heat and remove the cinnamon slit and the vanilla pod if you used it instead of the extract. Allow to cool completely.
Beat the egg yolks and mix with the milk that was allowed to cool. Fill with the mixture eight molds and put in the preheated oven at 180 º C in a tray with water that reaches half (bain - marie) for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from oven and bain-marie and put a few minutes under the grill to brown. Cool and serve cold.
