Ingredients

24 portions
  • 2 egg whites
  • 225 grams powdered sugar
  • 125 grams almond, ground
  • 30 grams rice
  • drops almond extract
  • 24 almonds, without skin

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350 ° F (180 ° C). With a blender , bring the whites to the point of snow.
Add the sugar by the tablespoon to obtain a thick, shiny meringue.
Add the almond, the rice flour, and the almond extract, until well combined.
If using, cover two trays with edible paper, or use baking paper.
Use two teaspoons to collect and shape the mixture, cleaning and drying each time.
Place on each piece of paper 4 teaspoons of mixture, separated.
Try to round the dough portions. Put a peeled almond in the center of each cookie.
Bake in the center of the oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until light brown.
Before separating each cookie from the paper, let it cool well on a rack.

TIPS

The macaroons are prone to stick, but if you use edible paper it does not matter if they stick to the cookies it is better to eat them the same day.
