Ingredients

16 portions
  • 4 cups Flour for Gamesa® Hot Cakes
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups evaporated milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons coconut essence
  • 8 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 kilos fondant
  • artificial food coloring
  • edible pearls, to decorate

Preparation

Start by preheating the oven to 220ºC.
In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Separately, in a small bowl beat the eggs together with the milk, melted butter and vanilla.
Place the mixture of liquid ingredients in the dry ingredients, integrating and beating well with the help of a hand mixer .
Place dough in the muffin molds. Do not place more than 3/4 of the capacity of the cups, otherwise your muffins will not have the desired presentation.
Bake for 20 minutes in the oven. After this time let cool for a period of 10 minutes.

PRESENTATION

When the muffins are cool, decorate them with white fondant, same that you can buy in the stores where they sell articles for baking. Work with the help of a special fondant roller. You can paint the fondant with gel dyes. The

TIPS

You can change the conventional sugar for icing sugar, the taste will be different. You can use coconut oil or whatever is your preference. Do not omit the vanilla extract.
