Ingredients

  • 1 cup Flour for Gamesa® Hot Cakes
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cups brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/3 cups vegetable shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 centigrade or 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grease and flour a muffin tray, or put pots on the tray.
Mix the flour for hot cakes, flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir and add the apples in small pieces until they cover well.
In a small bowl, mix the milk, shortening, egg and vanilla. Add to the flour mixture until everything is incorporated quickly. Fill the cups up to 3/4.
Mix sugar and half a teaspoon of cinnamon. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon on top of each muffin.
Bake between 18-20 minutes or until when inserting a toothpick, it comes out dry.
Let cool for 2 minutes and unmold.
