The authentic recipe for orange flavored polvorones, ideal to share at breakfast or dinner.

Ingredients

30 portions
  • 1 kilo wheat flour
  • 600 grams sugar
  • 600 grams lard, Inca
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons orange essence

Preparation

Make a bowl with the flour and coloring powder.
Integrate the sugar, butter and eggs in the center and cream them.
Mix in an enveloping way with the flour and coloring.
Add the teaspoon of vanilla and the two teaspoons of orange essence, continue beating until you get a homogeneous mass.
Sprinkle flour on the table and roll out the flour with a rolling pin.
Form the polvorones with a circular cookie mold.
Grease and enahrine the tray and place the polvorones in a row.
Bake at 150ºC, for 30 minutes.

PRESENTATION

If you want you can decorate your polvorones with icing sugar, or orange zest. Use your creativity to decorate as you like. BON APPETITE !!!

TIPS

The powder coloring defines the final color that the polvorones will have, depending on the orange tone you want them to have.
