Ingredients

14 servings
  • 1 Cup of flour
  • 3/4 of Cup of Flour for Gamesa® Hot Cakes
  • 1/2 Cup of nut chopped
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of baking soda
  • 1/2 Cup of sugar
  • 1/3 of Cup of vegetable shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 spoonfuls of milk
  • 1 Cup of ripe banana and mashed

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
    Grease a rectangular pound cake pan with butter and sprinkle with flour.
    Mix Flour, the Gamesa® Hot Cakes Flour, nuts, baking powder, and baking soda in a deep bowl and set aside.
    In a blender beat the shortening with the sugar for 1 minute until it has a smooth consistency. Add the mixture of flours, mashed bananas and eggs, alternating between each one.
    Pour the mixture in the greased pound cake pan and bake for 50-55 minutes until when inserting a toothpick in the center, it comes out clean.

    PRESENTATION

    Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

    TIPS

    Let the pound cake cool for 5 minutes before removing from the mold.
