Rich and fluffy coconut sponge cake, sprinkled on top with grated coconut.

Ingredients

7 portions
  • 250 grams flour
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 100 milliliters vegetal oil
  • 50 grams grated sweet coconut
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180º C and grease a one liter capacity bread pan.
In a large bowl mix the flour, with the sugar, coconut and baking powder. In another bold mix all the wet ingredients (acetite, eggs and vanilla).
Add the liquid ingredients to the flour mixture, until you get a smooth dough, then pour the mixture into the baking pan, previously greased and floured.
Bake for 1 hour, until the cake has risen and browned completely.
Decorate the cake to your liking: with icing sugar, pineapple jam, grated coconut or as you wish.

PRESENTATION

Garnish with shredded coconut above the sponge cake.

TIPS

It tastes good if you put pineapple jam on top and then sprinkle the grated coconut so it sticks. If you do not find pineapple marmalade, peaches are also rich.

Delicioso Muy rápida y rica, le agregué chispas de chocolate y le espolvorié coco y chispas encima y pues quedó doradito y crijiente... delicioso

falta un ingrediente mencionado hola oye jamas pusiste en los ingredientes cuanto tiene que llevar de crema pero en la preparacion si mencionas la crema
