The corn cake is a classic of Mexican cuisine, it is very easy to prepare and perfect to complement the meal or for an afternoon with friends drinking coffee. You can eat it alone or put a little cajeta, red fruit sauce or rompope.

Ingredients

10 portions
  • 2 1/2 cups whole corn kernels, 3 pieces of corn approximately
  • 100 grams flour
  • 2 cans condensed milk
  • 40 grams butter
  • 5 grams baking soda
  • 4 eggs

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C, grease and flour a round cake mold approximately 22 cm in diameter.
Add the corn to the blender along with the other ingredients and process until you have a homogeneous paste.
Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for about 45 minutes or until it is pricked clean with a toothpick.
Chill before unmolding.

TIPS

You can make a red fruit sauce or simply put it in a cajeta when you serve it.
