Ingredients

12 portions
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cups walnut, chopped
  • 1/2 cups butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon zest, of Orange
  • 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups orange juice

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C. Grease a mold.
Mix the baking powder, flour, and salt, sift the mixture and add nuts.
In another bowl, beat the butter with 1 cup of sugar, add the eggs one by one. Turn off the blender and add the zest and orange juice. Add the dry ingredients in an enveloping manner with a spatula.
Place the mixture inside a mold and bake for 1 hour.
Mix 1/2 cup of orange juice with 1/4 cup of sugar in a pot. Bring it to a low heat until all the ingredients are incorporated. Pour this glaze once the pancake comes out of the oven.

PRESENTATION

Cut a slice of bread and accompany it with a scoop of ice cream.

TIPS

Let the pancake cool for ten minutes before unmolding it.
