Pastry Cream Cake without Oven

Prepare this quick and easy cold cake based on cookies and filled with vanilla and lemon custard, covered with delicious melted chocolate, this soft dessert will delight your senses and everyone will love it.

Ingredients

  • 14 pieces of yolk for custard
  • 1 Cup of refined sugar for pastry cream, half for half milk for bleaching buds
  • 1 Cup of cornstarch for custard
  • 8 cups of milk for custard
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon zest for custard
  • 2 spoonfuls of vanilla
  • 2 envelopes of grenetina (7 gc / u) hydrated and melted
  • 2 cups of bitter chocolate cast, for coverage
  • 1/4 of Cup of honey for coverage
  • 1/2 Cup of cream to beat hot for coverage
  • enough of Maria cookie

    Preparation

    In a bowl beat the yolks with half the sugar until they have a lighter color and fluff, add the cornstarch and continue beating until it is incorporated, reserve.
    Heat a small pot with milk and half the sugar, lemon zest and vanilla extract. Add a little of the hot milk to the yolks so that they are tempered, mix and pour the yolks in the pot. Cook with constant movements until thick. Remove from the pot and reserve in a bowl, add the grenetina and mix well until it is incorporated.
    In a bowl mix the chocolate with the cream to beat and the honey, mix until the ingredients are incorporated. Reservation.
    In a glass container place the cookies and pour the pastry cream, repeat until the mold is complete. Refrigerate until set, remove from refrigeration and cover with chocolate mixture. Refrigerate again, cut and enjoy.

    PRESENTATION

    Serve a slice and decorate with a little orange if desired.

    TIPS

    Do not overcook the pastry cream or you can cook the egg and your cream will be ruined.
