If you are vegan and want to pamper yourself, here you have a delicious pie of grapes is American type, try it you will love it, besides it is very easy to make, it is advisable to use purple grapes to have color contrast.

  • 1/2 teaspoons sugar, for the mass
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup sugar, for the filling
  • 1 1/2 cups margarine, 100% vegetable
  • 1/4 cups Water, cool


Preheated oven at 180 ° C
Place the grapes in a saucepan with lemon juice and sugar. Heat and when the mixture starts to boil, leave it on low heat for 10 minutes (almost all the liquid released by the grapes should be consumed). Remove from the fire and let cool.
For the dough, form a volcano with flour, salt and sugar, add the margarine and start to work finally add the cold water and knead until integrating.
Divide the dough into two balls, one a little larger than we will use for the bottom of the cake. Stretch the dough with a rolling pin and place it very carefully in the mold so that it does not break. Cover the edges, add the grapes and place the top of the cake on top.
Join the top of the cake with the edges of the base either by rolling both layers over or crushing them against the edge of the mold with a fork. Make 3 or 4 holes in the dough of the lid by pressing with a fork to let the steam out of the grapes when the cake is in the oven.
Bake for 35 minutes.


You can serve it with a scoop of vegan ice cream.


It is advisable not to use a very deep mold.
