This delicious Pay de Limón is a cold Peruvian dessert with a pleasant flavor. It has a delicious merengue made with egg whites whipped to nougat.

Ingredients

8 portions
  • 1 package lemon cookie
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 3 lemons
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 cups sugar

Preparation

Dough: The cookies are crushed in the blender and then mixed with the butter, molded with the hands until compact in the mold, and refrigerated for a moment.
Filling: Prepare the filling by mixing condensed milk with lemon juice and put on top of the cookie dough, refrigerate.
Merengue: The meringue is prepared by whipping the egg whites with the sugar on the turron point and cover it with the meringue, brown with a torch or in the oven for 5 minutes and that's it.
