Ingredients

6 servings
  • 60 milliliters of Water
  • 150 grams of piloncillo
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of anise
  • 1/2 piece of cinnamon stick slices
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 3/4 of Cup of sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoonful of baking powder
  • 125 grams of Butter cut into cubes, cold
  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1/2 Cup of milk

    Preparation

    Preheat the oven to 170 ° C.
    In a saucepan over medium heat cook the water with the piloncillo, the anise, the cinnamon slice until you get a caramel. Let cool and reserve.
    In a bowl, hover flour with sugar and baking powder. Add the butter and work with your fingers until you get a point of sand.
    Add the egg and the honey of piloncillo, knead until it has a homogeneous mass. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
    On a floured surface spread the dough to a thickness of 3mm, with the help of a cutter in the form of a little pig and placed in a tray, varnished with milk.
    Bake for 15 min, let cool and enjoy.

    PRESENTATION

    On a plate accompanied by a glass of cold milk.

    TIPS

    It is important to refrigerate the dough before cutting it due to the large amount of butter, in this way the dough will be firmer.
